This design draws inspiration from Coalemo, the personification of stupidity and ignorance in Greek mythology, embodying the paradox of simplicity and foolishness. The outfit explores the theme of careless abandon, imprudence, and the unawareness of one’s own limitations.
The foundation of the outfit is an exaggerated, playful silhouette that suggests an over-the-top, exaggerated notion of absurdity. The primary fabric is a whimsical, crinkled taffeta in a bright, jarring combination of yellow and neon green — colors that evoke a sense of naivety, foolishness, and excess, all at once.
